around the same time as Life's Too Short, I was ready to move on from the somewhat traumatic experience that sparked such poetry
I woke up this morning, only to find out the news. Stunning and heartbreaking, to believe it I did refuse.
Do you ever get that feeling, that life will never be the same? As if all meaning has blown away, like a candle losing it's flame.
As I then stepped out of bed, confused thoughts running through my head. Feeling as if I'd soon be dead, Suddenly I stopped - and to myself I said,
Just relax and take a deep breath, and consider this situation. Do you want to lose your mind, because of infatuation? Think of it as a chance, one to start over - without limitation.
It's time for a new beginning. So stop and clear your mind. Your world will not be ending, just think of what you may find! So open up your eyes to life, you know it's no fun to be blind! Take my hand and follow me, together we shall unwind!
Don't just sit there, staring into space, this new life of yours, has no time to waste! So turn towards me now let me stare into your eyes, so beautiful they are and to them, I can tell no lies.
