Below is a link to ways to keep dogs away from harmful situations. On of the most important things talked about, is why you should avoid leaving a dog in a vehicle on sunny (even if it is mild) days. This is something that should NEVER be done. Even if it's for a few minutes. Even if the window is down a bit. Remember: dogs are always wearing fur coats. Good post I can't stand seeing dogs panting so heavily in vehicles on a hot day. When it's even too hot for you outside, and that dog's in a car, wearing a fur coat!
