My Rating: 9.5
This is a HUGE nutrient boost! Add it to whatever you want to make it healthier! I use it in rice/pasta dishes and soup. It also works well on popcorn because it has a cheesy flavour.
Here's an example of some nutrients you get in 1.5 tbsps of nutritional yeast:
Thiamin (B1): 640% Protein: 17% Niacin: 280% Riboflavin (B2): 565% Vitamin B6: 480% Vitamin B12: 133% Folic Acid: 60% Zinc: 21% Dietary Fiber: 16% Saturated Fat & Sodium: 0%
Pros: very healthy and easy way for veg*ns (or anyone!) to get nutrients, good price Cons: none that I can think of!
