Overall rating: 8.5
---------------------- Flavor - 8 It's very similar to cow's milk...this may be good for some people, but it may also explain why I don't/can't drink too much of it. One glass per day or so is about all I can drink.
Texture - 10 If you're looking for a good textured non-dairy milk, go for it!
Price - 6 It's slightly on the pricey side...I'm not sure how many cups are in a gallon, but the container than had 4 cups went for about $2.50 - $3.00.
Used with cooking - 10 Works very well, just as well as cow's milk! (and healthier) -------------------------
I first tried it at a friend's house...they were going with a vegetarian diet (the only thing that they ate that was non-vegan was honey) for a few weeks, go "clense" their systems. I'm still not sure who had the idea, since the father is a BIG meat-eater and didn't seem overly excited with the idea. All they had was a regular-flavor soy milk and the rice milk...I definitely preferred the rice milk!
it's really good...but like I said, maybe it's similarities to milk, make it hard for me to drink large amounts at one time. Usually a half of a glass (about 6oz) is great. it also goes well on cereal and things like that.

I tried this last month. I tried the chocolate one and I really liked it. I think soymilk tastes closer to cow's milk though, but I don't really care what tastes closer because I'm not pursuing the taste of cow's milk. I find the rice milk is sweeter than soymilk. Very good, but I think I prefer soymilk. Soon I plan to try almond milk though and I will post the review when I do!
